When a cherished community landmark — the North Castle Eagle — was vandalized, Joe reached out to local business leaders and, through their generosity and partnership, restored and re-erected the Eagle in record time at no cost to the Town. It was an early signal of what this administration is about: solving problems quickly through collaboration.

Keeping North Castle Safe & Secure

Supporting our police and first responders with the resources and training they need. Bringing county-level emergency management experience to keep our town prepared. That's why the North Castle PBA has endorsed Joe's re-election.

  • Negotiated police labor contract — officers had gone nearly 2 years without one
  • Installed additional license plate readers at strategic points
  • Rebuilt staffing to budgeted levels: from 28 to 34 sworn officers

  • New turf field and Clove Road Park improvements approved and are using cost-saving cooperative purchasing
  • Dog park delivered using internal Town staff and resources efficiently

A Lifetime of Service & Leadership

Joe Rende has served as North Castle Town Supervisor since January 2024, bringing a sharp focus on public safety, fiscal responsibility, and delivering real results. Growing up in Westchester, Joe ran his family's home heating oil business alongside his father — learning the value of hard work, fiscal discipline, and showing up for your neighbors.

Joe has been a proud North Castle resident for more than 15 years. Joe and his significant other, the Honorable Linda S. Jamieson, Justice of the New York State Supreme Court, share a big family, including six children and ten grandchildren, and spend their free time with family, friends, and the community they're proud to call home.
